Murchison Falls is located in northwestern Uganda within ''Murchison Falls National Park''. Here, the Nile River narrows to just 7 meters and rushes with great force through a narrow rocky gorge before plunging about 43 meters, creating one of the most impressive waterfalls in Africa. The area is surrounded by rich wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions, and hippos.
