Murchison Falls is located in northwestern Uganda, within Murchison Falls National Park. Here, the Nile River dramatically narrows to about 7 meters before plunging with immense force through a narrow rocky gorge, creating one of Africa’s most spectacular waterfalls. The surrounding area is rich in wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions, and hippos.
