London Eye, revolving observation wheel, is located in the South Bank of the River Thames in district of Lambeth. At an overall height of 135 meters, the London Eye was the world’s tallest Ferris wheel from 1999, when it was built. Until 2006 it continues to bear this glory, but then the Star of Nanchang, China was built and displaced it from the first place. Mounted on the wheel are 32 “capsules,” each of them has a capacity of 25 passengers.
It is one of London’s most popular tourist attractions.
