Constanta is a shore city on the Black sea coast and addministrative centre of Constanta region. Its the oldest inhabited city in Romania, found around 600 BC and called Tomyris. In 29 BC the Romans capture the region from the thracian tribes and annexed it as far as the Danube. Today this is one of the main harbours in Romania and an interesting tourist region.
