
Bodbe Monastery is a Georgian Orthodox monastery located in the village of Bodbe in the region of Kakheti.
According to the legend, St. Nino, who brought Christianity to Georgia, is buried in the monastery. The original church of the monastery dates back to the 4th century, but the current building was erected in the 9th century. The monastery also acted as a shelter for Georgian queens during medieval times.
The monastery complex consists of several buildings: church, bell tower, and a spring with water believed to have healing energy.
